02 How consent works here
Off by default, and reversible.
The banner offers two choices: Accept all and Essentials only. Both are equally prominent, neither is pre-selected, and refusing analytics does not degrade the site in any way — every page and the checker itself work identically.
Until you choose, the analytics slot on the page stays empty and no third-party request is made. When you accept, the analytics script loads; when you choose essentials only, it never loads at all. Your choice is stored locally rather than sent to us as a cookie, so we do not even learn that you made one.
If the measurement ID is still unfilled, nothing loads even after you accept — the site ships with no third-party script by default.
